Roguelite bullet-hell shooter for PC

Ether Loop is a premium PC action game made by developer Moon Lens. It is a bullet-hell pixel shooter that features roguelite elements in its gameplay. In it, players enter and explore a mysterious world filled with ever-changing environments and fight deadly creatures as they uncover the secrets of the Ether Loop.

Just like with Enter the Gungeon or Cuphead, Ether Loop is a game that requires quick reflexes and skill from players in order to succeed and progress forward. In addition, it features various weapons and abilities that can be linked together to create practically limitless combos.

Is it any good?

From the get-go, Ether Loop doesn't waste much time and immediately introduces you to its harsh and unforgiving world. In it, you play as a mysterious character that gets dropped in an underground area, picking up a weapon beside him, and off he goes to explore and find a way out. Each level is a combination of randomly-generated areas, with a boss to face at the end.

There are a variety of monsters to encounter in Ether Loop, each with its own unique movement and attack patterns. The same goes for the multiple weapons, skills, and items that you'll acquire along the way. You even get to combine them in different ways to create some pretty cool and free-flowing combos. Random traps, challenges, and encounters round out the game's frenetic gameplay.

Lastly, there's an online leaderboard that lets you compete with your friends and other players for the best times, achievements, and others. If there's one thing that lets the game down, it would have to be its short playthrough. Even with the various achievements that you can unlock, you would be able to finish the game in a couple of hours.

Fun but brief

Overall, if you're looking for a new bullet-hell shooter to play, Ether Loop is a great choice to consider. It's fun and challenging, offers plenty of weapons and skills to experiment with, and the randomly-generated levels make every playthrough feel unique and different. Apart from its short runtime, this is highly recommended.

Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
