Each level is a combination of randomly-generated areas, with a boss to face at the end.

There are a variety of monsters to encounter in Ether Loop, each with its own unique movement and attack patterns. The same goes for the multiple weapons, skills, and items that you'll acquire along the way. You even get to combine them in different ways to create some pretty cool and free-flowing combos. Random traps, challenges, and encounters round out the game's frenetic gameplay.

Lastly, there's an online leaderboard that lets you compete with your friends and other players for the best times, achievements, and others. If there's one thing that lets the game down, it would have to be its short playthrough. Even with the various achievements that you can unlock, you would be able to finish the game in a couple of hours.

It's fun and challenging, offers plenty of weapons and skills to experiment with, and the randomly-generated levels make every playthrough feel unique and different.
